About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected team at a high achieving college. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Film and Media Studies lecturer to join our vibrant and dynamic college in the New Forest, Hampshire. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students up to A-Level / Key Stage 5, fostering a love for Film and Media and promoting high standards of achievement. This role offers the opportunity to start immediately or from September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Film and Media lectures and lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners up to A-Level / Key Stage 5.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student's work in line with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Contribute to the wider college community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

As a Film and Media studies lecturer, you will ideally have:

  • A degree or higher in a relevant subject discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching and lecturing Film and Media Studies to A-Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Film and Media Studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £145.00-£205.00 per day
