Graduate Teaching Assistant - Winchester

Quokka Education are looking for confident and adaptable Graduate Teaching Assistants for our partner schools in the Winchester and surrounding areas. These are full-time opportunities to start in April, as well as September 2025. 

No experience? No problem! We provide full support, free online courses,and taster days to help you step into the classroom with confidence and enthusiasm. 

What you'll be doing:

  • As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to deliver personalised coaching to students in a way that is tailored to their individual learning needs. 
  • Building positive working relationships with students, offering emotional and academic support, whilst being a a positive role model.
  • Supporting staff strategies to help create an inclusive and effective learning environment.
  • Delivering 1:1 interventions to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

  • Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day via PAYE. 
  • Hours - 8.30 am to 3.15 pm, term time only.
