We are working with a lovely SEN school based in Winchester, and we are currently seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The school boasts fantastic facilities, including a sensory room, soft play areas, and extensive outdoor spaces.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their learning and development. Some of the experiences we are looking for in the ideal candidate include:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and/or social and emotional needs
- Knowledge of and experience with behaviour management strategies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with parents and other professionals
- A patient and nurturing approach to working with children
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive pay of £384.60 to £475 per week and the opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming environment.
