Your new companyA large, well-respected public-sector organisation are looking for a Finance System Analyst to develop/ move forward the organisations systems and processes to ensure effective and efficient processing of data and to further extend the range of management tools and reports used to inform the business. This is a permanent role Your new roleWe are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to enhance current finance system processes, ensuring efficient and effective use of components by staff across the organisation. The role involves managing and implementing the continuous development of new and existing finance system components, with a focus on progression and automation. You will assist the Systems Manager in developing and testing finance system functionality, modelling business processes, and ensuring that the data structures of the system meet reporting and return requirements.Additionally, you will advise the Systems Manager on new technology developed by Unit4 ERP that could enhance the professional, proactive, quality service provided by Finance to staff. You will also advise staff on the appropriate use of the finance system to obtain the information they need regarding new developments. Generating and maintaining data quality reports in conjunction with other key posts across the organisation is another key responsibility.Your contributions will include producing training manuals and delivering training to finance system users. Attendance at the Unit4 ERP User conference and regional user group meetings, as required, is expected. Finally, you will document all new business processes where applicable.What you'll need to succeed
- Must: Agresso/ Unit4
- Experience implementing continuous improvement
- Experience developing and testing Finance systems
- Data Analysis and ability report these findings with non-technical users
- Strong planning and communication skills
