We are recruiting for a part time Purchasing & Stock Assistant (22.5 hours a week with a salary of up to £24,000 pro-rata) to join our clients purchasing team to support a suburb high quality interior design business based in Winchester.

You will be communicating by email and phone with multiple suppliers based in the UK and overseas so strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise instructions are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with the sales team and suppliers across the UK and overseas
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Purchasing
  • Stock takes
  • Stock movements
  • Invoice checking
  • Maintaining pricing
  • Preparing quotations

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working in an office or warehouse environment
  • An interest or experience in interior design
  • Knowledge of inventory control
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to give clear and concise instructions
