An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-quality interior design business as a Purchasing & Stock Assistant.

You will be responsible for managing stock and custom product orders, liaising with suppliers both in the UK and overseas. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise instructions are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the entire process of ordering stock and custom products
  • Communicating effectively with the sales team and suppliers in the UK and abroad
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Preparing detailed quotations
  • Managing daily sales orders, selecting products from the warehouse and coordinating deliveries while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Recording stock movements and maintaining accurate records of pricing, stock levels, and schedules
  • Processing invoices and returns
  • Participating in the annual stock count

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an office or warehouse environment
  • Interest in or experience with interior design
  • Knowledge of inventory control
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instructions
