Senior Town Planner - Winchester - £Negotiable

We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking, client-focused consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning and environmental services. Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Town Planner to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to shaping future developments across the UK.

About the Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you will:

Lead on the preparation, management, and submission of planning applications and appeals.
Provide expert planning advice to a diverse range of clients, including residential, commercial, and public sector projects.
Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and the public throughout the planning process.
Mentor and support junior members of the team, helping to nurture talent and foster growth.
Contribute to the business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning or a related field, with eligibility for MRTPI or equivalent accreditation.
At least 5 years of experience in a planning role, with a solid understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering high-quality planning solutions.
