Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Location: Winchester
Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career, or a Senior Town Planner seeking an exciting new challenge?
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading developer in the Winchester area, is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating the planning application process for a range of development projects
- Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
- Liaising with local authorities, external consultants, and other parties involved in the planning process
- Preparing planning reports, assessments, and relevant documentation
- Ensuring projects comply with relevant planning policies and legislation
- Supporting the development and implementation of planning strategies to achieve company goals
Requirements:
- Degree in Town Planning or related discipline
- RTPI membership or eligibility for membership
- Proven experience in planning, with a track record of managing complex applications (Senior level applicants)
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
