The role will offer a opportunity for career progression, ideal candidate will be multi skilled but electrically bias. Ideally candidates will possess an HNC qualification with minimum of 18th Edition. Experience working in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.Typical Duties will involve:

  • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance and respond promptly to equipment faults.
  • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods with the Lead Maintenance Engineer.
  • Updating and monitoring of jobs, PM's and stock on the Engineering system
  • Send updates weekly on works carried out.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems, fit new parts, ensure equipment is working correctly and perform quality inspections on completed tasks.
  • Liaising with all departments, suppliers, subcontractors and other engineering and production colleagues.
  • Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
  • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.

Desirable experience:

  • BTEC/HNC Qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • PLC Inverter drives
  • Reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Manufacturing or FMCG background
  • Drive for career progression
