Operations Manager Alresford/Winchester £30/40k (DOE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Operations Manager for a dynamic property development business in Alresford. As an Operations Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations while providing support to the team, customers and suppliers and tradesman.

This role would be great for someone with an interest in the development industry, who is keen to build on skills, contribute to team success and develop their career in a supportive and training rich environment.

The Role

  • Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the daily schedules for project teams, tradesmen, and suppliers.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials, tools, and plant for various projects. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
  • Organise and maintain the diaries for key team members, ensuring appointments, meetings, and site visits are efficiently managed. Support general office administration, ensuring smooth operational work-flows.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and tradesmen, handling communications, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and tradesmen to foster a collaborative, productive work environment.
  • Assist in the daily operational needs of the company, ensuring smooth communication between all departments and keeping records and documentation up to date.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that may arise on-site, always striving for efficient and effective solutions.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Oversee account keeping, ensuring reconciliation of supplier deliveries to invoices, and maintaining clear communication with the company bookkeeper.
  • Assist in project coordination and provide support where necessary

The Person

  • Previous experience in an operation, office management or project coordination role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with colleagues, clients, suppliers and tradesmen
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Genuine interest in the development industry and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Honest, trustworthy and dependable with a high level of integrity

This is an office-based role, and you will need transport. Monday to Friday 9-5pm but there may be a little flexibility on start time. The salary will be based on experience. This could be a fantastic opportunity and working alongside a brilliant team.
