Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading building contractor based near Winchester who is searching for an Operations Manager to join the business.

The company has been trading for over 14 years and undertakes all aspects of building work, including refurbishment, planned and voids projects for Housing Associations clients across the South.

The company is steadily growing, and they are now looking for a motivated Operations Manager with social housing experience who has previously managed kitchen and bathroom upgrades or void property refurbishments.

This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving business and establish yourself within the senior management team.

The business will consider an existing Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Project Manager that has worked within the Housing Associations sector and has contacts.

The role of the Operations Manager:

  • Responsible for leading the operational delivery of a variety of planned programs and contracts across the South.
  • You will liaise directly with clients and subcontractors and oversee all projects from inception through to completion.
  • You will lead by example, motivating, incentivising, and developing individuals and will be involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new members.
  • You will instil ownership and responsibility in your teams to support the successful delivery of works to the expected standards, on time and to budget.
  • You will ensure Health and Safety measures are in place and monitored.
  • You will build relationships both internally and externally and ensure commercial and operational teams work closely.
  • You will manage your own time so that you can visit site regularly to maintain productivity and be in the office to ensure procedures and reports are up to date.
