With many of the accounts across Europe, there will be some travel involved to visit customers and attend trade shows. The rest of the time you will be in the office, collaborating across the business, or working from home.

You will be responsible for many different things, but most importantly you will be networking across your accounts and building relationships from top to bottom. The Candidate: Key Account Manager

The successful candidate will be positive and confident in their ability, and will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in managing and growing key accounts, with a good commercial mindset.
  • Experience in a technical or scientific industry, to be comfortable discussing the products.
  • Comfortable in an SME environment, where processes and systems are being developed.
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally for customer visits and occasional scientific conferences, on average 30% of the time
