You will be a hard-working and reliable Production Manager, with good attention to detail and confident in using up to date technology to help enhance the production processes!

The ideal candidate will ideally have Production management experience however our client will consider applications from applicants who have a strong people management background within a similar environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of permanent and temporary staff (up to 25 staff in total)
  • Using modern technology equipment and system to ensure production processes are efficient and completed in a timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Communicating with the sales team and other department when required to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Oversee the daily production activities and plans
  • Implementing new production processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Managing and organising the production teams to ensure orders and job sheets are provided at the beginning of each shift
  • Ensuring the ordering platform is maintained and kept up to date at all times
  • Managing relationships with key equipment providers to help ensure any machine breakdowns are reported and fixed accordingly in a timely manner
  • Liaising with the customer service team to ensure customers are kept up to date with delivery schedules and any delivery issues
  • Working closely with customers regarding any errors or issues that may occur
  • Liaising with the sales team for any samples that are requested from new customers
  • Any other ad-hoc production management duties where needed

Key skills:

  • Own transport is essential due to location
  • Previous production management experience or similar is required
  • Computer literate and comfortable using up to date technology equipment/systems
  • Problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (08:00-18:00 between March and June)
