Job OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the acute medical team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality interventions and support for patients requiring acute care services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed assessments for patients in acute care settings.
- Develop and execute individualized therapeutic interventions to enhance recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
- Ensure safe and effective discharge planning to maintain continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with NHS guidelines.
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 6 months of NHS experience in an acute care setting.
- Demonstrated clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
