Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Global Social Media Lead to oversee the development and implementation of social media strategies across diverse platforms and markets. Description

  • Design and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with global business goals while catering to regional nuances
  • Develop a content roadmap and channel strategies to maximise engagement and brand awareness across platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc)
  • Establish and oversee the tone, voice, and style guidelines for social media content, ensuring consistency globally
  • Lead global campaigns, from ideation to execution, incorporating both organic and paid strategies
  • Partner with regional teams to adapt campaigns for cultural and market-specific relevance
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with global marketing objectives
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI
  • Provide actionable insights from analytics to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee global reporting frameworks, ensuring consistent and accurate tracking across regions
  • Work closely with global marketing, PR, creative, and product teams to integrate social media initiatives with broader campaigns
  • Partner with regional social media leads to share best practices and ensure alignment with global strategies
  • Provide guidance, training, and resources to regional teams to enhance their execution capabilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for social media-related queries, offering strategic advice and operational support

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years in social media strategy and management, with global or multi-region experience preferred
  • Proven track record of leading social media campaigns across B2B and B2C markets
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics), and paid social ad management
  • Strong ability to blend creative vision with strategic execution, adapting strategies to varied cultural contexts
  • Skilled in storytelling and creating content that drives engagement and business results
  • Expertise in analysing data and generating actionable insights. Experience with tools like Tableau or social-specific analytics platforms is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-cultural teams and manage projects in a matrixed environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in a global setting
