Certain Advantage is hiring for a Quality Manager / QHSE Manager, for a technically advanced manufacturer, based in North East Hampshire.

This role is on a permanent basis and is predominantly based at the company's manufacturing facility.

Are you a Quality or QHSE Manager, from a manufacturing environment, looking to join a renowned leader in the development of cutting-edge sensor technology, where you will take on a pivotal role, advancing the Quality and HSE functions of the business?

The Company

We're working with an innovative company, which develops and manufactures sensor technology and monitoring solutions, for challenging environments. They have been established for over 50 years, supplying into Environmental, Maritime & Marine and Defence Markets.

Established for over 60 years, the business is globally renowned for environmental / ocean technology solutions.

The Role:

This role would suit someone with a strong background in Quality Management for manufacturing, ideally also possessing HSE management experience.

You'll be a key member of the management team, leading and developing all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes, for a growing and highly reputable manufacturer.

Day to day you will:

  • Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Conduct audits and project inspections; analyse complaints and non-conformances
  • Champion quality best practices across the organisation
  • Promote QHSE awareness to employees, subcontractors and other relevant parties
  • Monitor risks and conduct safety inspections in the workplace
  • Create and review Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments
  • Assess and implement relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13485, 14001, 45001).

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

  • Quality Manager, or QHSE Manager, with a background in Manufacturing
  • Suitable for Security Clearance
  • Ideally relevant certification such as NEBOSH, COSHH, NGC, IOSH, ISO9001 QMS Auditing
  • Ideally Degree or equivalent relating to Engineering / Manufacturing
