• Pay: £90 a day

The School and Role:

An Alternative Provision school based in Southampton are currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to start with them from March. The school caters for primary aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as challenging behaviour.  The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be required to work 1-1 or in small classes, assisting pupils academically as well as overcoming barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally.

The Desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience of working with children in an educational setting
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH/challenging behaviour
• A passion for the progress of pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
