Location: Winchester, UK
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:00pm)
Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder, looking for a new opportunity to grow and develop with a new and upcoming Freight and Logistics Company? Then this role could be for you!
My client is looking for an experienced Air, Ocean and/or Road Freight Forwarder to join their team based in Winchester. The right candidate will have previous experience working for a UK Freight Forwarder or Haulier and have knowledge of Import and Export operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day Multi-Modal Freight Forwarding operations, start-to-finish, for both Import and Export jobs.
- Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork
- Ensure completion of consignments by monitoring from collection to delivery.
- Supplier and client liaison and negotiation.
- Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service information.
- Managing the jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues.
- Proactively contacting the existing clients to maximise business potential.
Requirements:
- Freight Forwarding Operations experience is essential.
- Experience with Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight Operations.
- Import and Export experience.
- Customs experience is desirable.
