Managing Quantity Surveyor
A major highways project with a Tier 1 main contractor who are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Winchester.
The main contractor is one of the leading engineering companies in the UK specialising in highways projects and currently turning over more than £600m per annum.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a leading contractor on an extraordinary project.
Responsibilities (but not limited to) for Managing Quantity Surveyor:
- Raise early warning notices to the client and subcontractors
- Identify, notify and price compensation events
- Produce or support the production of CVRs.
- Manage subcontractors from tender enquiries to final accounts
- Review subcontract quotations and place subcontract orders
- Assess and pay subcontract applications
- You will be responsible for preparing applications for payment for assigned work packages
- Agreeing on final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Working closely with the commercial lead on day-to-day duties on the site.
Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience in a management role within a commercial team (Desirable)
- Highways experience or a similar Sector
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Full right to work in the UK.
