Location: Winchester, UK
Pay Rate: 13.75 - 14.15 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Winchester. This hands-on role involves maintaining a high standard across facilities, addressing repair needs, and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Assist with reactive maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Carry out general duties such as porterage, installation of signage, and upkeep of facilities.
- Support the cleaning team with janitorial duties when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines at all times.
About You:
- Proven experience in a maintenance or similar hands-on role.
- Basic knowledge of repair, maintenance, and general handyman tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
