To provide project management for the delivery of Electronic Access Control System (EACS) and Alarm Monitoring Centre(AMC) capabilities. This project sits security projects within the Protective Security Transformation Programme (PSTP)) that forms part of the plan for the development of the Health Safety Security and Wellbeing directorate.
The role will ensure the EACS and AMC projects conform to governance process and are delivered on time and to appropriate standards; it will also encompass the replacement of a number of CCTV cameras across the estate.
This role will focus on the delivery of Security Projects and will require close coordination with a wide array ofn internal stakeholders, including Security, Digital, Procurement, Facilities and Operational teams.
The role holder will join the project at the concept/assessment phase and will help shape the plan through to delivery - they will be supported by an expert in security systems throughout. This involve, creating project plans, , coordinating delivery, tracking spends and schedules, highlighting and managing risks and reporting progress that will be reviewed at an Executive level.
* Enable effective management of change plans by;
o Developing project schedules and cost profiles, including routine monitoring of project costs and budgets.
o Managing project development and delivery using our portfolio management tool.
o Leading project steering groups, ensuring you have robust governance processes in place.
o Holding stakeholders to account against agreed timelines.
o Identifying and analysing risks and issues, ensuring each has an owner with appropriate mitigations.
o Produce project reports, based on RADIO and PCT, providing key management information for senior leaders to make informed decisions.
o Ensuring projects adhere to Transformation Office standards and guidance.
* Create and manage plans to;
o Roll out a replacement EACS across the estate (Kent, Hampshire and Sussex).
o Upgrade the Alarm Monitoring Centre to manage the additional demand.
o Manage the replacement of obsolete e CCTV cameras and additional hardware across the estate
o Create plans and a business case for an expansion of the Access Control System to other parts of the estate.
