Full Stack Developer

Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a remote Fullstack Developer with a front end focus to work for a key client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below:Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain SC clearance to be suitable for this position.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain both frontend and backend components of complex web applications.
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Track and evolve metrics to measure business impact and system health.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to implement best practices.

Skill set required:

• 2+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Frontend Developer
• Experience using React.js
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails would be beneficial
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL/ SQL
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
