Prospero Teaching are looking for a confident and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a charming village school north of Winchester. While no formal qualifications are required, experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those requiring additional support in their learning is preferable. Please be advised that the school is in a remote location, where public transport links are very limited.

As a HLTA, you will:

      • Lead small group interventions and support individual students.
      • Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
      • Provide cover for teachers during short-term absences/PPA.
      • Support the development of student's social and emotional skills.
      • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

    • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    • Provide references upon request
    • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
