Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for day to day supply within your local area?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking relief LSA's/TA's to fulfil day to day bookings within a number of schools in and around Winchester. This is to cover absence within a variety of schools, enabling you to work within a number of different schools with the opportunity of gaining a long term/permanent placement!

As a branch, we manage the Hampshire Supply Service, supporting over 500 schools throughout Hampshire. We provide candidates for teaching and support roles, offer long-term cover assistance, and help fill permanent vacancies. 

As the TA/LSA, you will be supporting pupils as a class, small group or individually whilst assisting the class teacher with the delivery of the lesson content. You will have a patient and positive manner and be keen to make a difference within the classroom. You will have a passion for working with children and be open to working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs. 

The salary for this role is up to £14 per hour based on candidate experience.

For this role, you will:- Ideally have experience working within a school environment- Have a background of working with children and young people (such as TA/LSA, support worker, etc)- Have a passion for working with young people, and supporting a variety of needs - For SEN specific cover, you will need experience working with Special Educational Needs (personally or professionally)- Have good availability and be as flexible as possible- Ideally be a driver or able to get to a number of schools via public transport
