Teaching Assistant - SEN

Academics are working with a number of SEN schools across Hampshire that provide for children who have been diagnosed with a range of educational and social, emotional and mental health needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you could potentially be put into some challenging, sometimes Anti-Social contexts that will build your foundations of experience, so you must be resilient and comfortable in this kind of environment. Although a role like this can sometimes be challenging, it is also very rewarding seeing how your support can impact a students life.
* Location: Hampshire* Pay: £83.34 per day* Full time 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential* A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.* Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff* Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary.* Able to use their initiative to support learning.* Passion to support children and young people with special educational needs
What you'll need:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to get one.* Eligibility to work in the UK.* Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above.* Live locally - around the Hampshire area.
