The Role:

A Server Build Engineer (Infrastructure build engineer) is required for an Operating System upgrade (Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019/2022 TBA) on a secure enterprise infrastructure. The Server Build Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of both high- and low-level design documents as well as the implementation Windows Server builds and the provisioning mechanism.

Develop deployment strategy for multiple Windows Server builds * Design of automated builds * Experience of MECM/SCCM * Design and implement a HyperV infrastructure including automated provisioning of VMs * Experience with VSphere and ESX is useful * Design and implement a Microsoft Certificate Authority Solution * Develop Windows Server firewall configurations * Integration of packaged applications into the server provisioning * Knowledge of CESG guidance, DISA STIGs and implementation of security profiles to meet these requirements * Produce Group Policy Objects and PowerShell scripts to implement the above
