We are seeking a self-motivated and organised Electrical Installation Lecturer with excellent communication skills to teach and assess Level 2 Technical Certificates and Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeships. This role involves restructuring the current teaching and assessment strategy to make it more agile and reflective of the Standard model.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning on full-time and apprenticeship courses.
- Ensure all assessments and associated tracking and monitoring activities are undertaken and meet college and Awarding Body criteria.
- Contribute to the restructuring of the teaching and assessment strategy in the Electrical area.
- Experience working within the industry.
- Experience teaching, assessing, and delivering NVQ and apprenticeship programmes (essential).
- Assessor Award qualification (A1) or equivalent.
- Internal Verifier qualification (V1) or equivalent (advantageous).
- Relevant vocational qualifications to level 3.
- GCSE grade A*-C in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Candidates without a formal teaching qualification may qualify for financial support and incentive payments under the Government's Taking Teaching Further Programme.
