• Job Type: Part-time (3 half days per week)

We are currently seeking a dynamic MFL German Teacher to join a school in the scenic Lake District. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in MFL - German to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Regularly assess and review student progress and provide feedback to foster development.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Recent and relevant experience teaching German at KS3, KS4 and KS5 levels.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model displaying qualities such as compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be patient and confident when working with children.
