We are currently seeking a dynamic MFL German Teacher to join a school in the scenic Lake District. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in MFL - German to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
- Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure a constructive learning environment.
- Regularly assess and review student progress and provide feedback to foster development.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Recent and relevant experience teachingĀ German at KS3,Ā KS4 andĀ KS5 levels.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
- Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model displaying qualities such as compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be patient and confident when working with children.
