We're seeking a General Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Windsor. This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our accounting processes.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing and processing a variety of general ledger transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Taking ownership of balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Supporting period-end close activities, working to strict deadlines.
- Maintaining key financial controls and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial integrity and provide insights.
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles, VAT, and reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, balance sheet management, and period-end close.
- Experience with key financial controls and process optimisation.
- Organised, detail-focused, and a proactive problem solver.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Work within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
