CantelloTayler Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a client who is based in Windsor. The primary objectives of the role will be to support Accounts in day-to-day finance administration.

The Accounts Assistant duties will include:
- Printing out incoming invoices, logging on accounts payable/Sage and issuing for sign off, update on Sage/Accounts once payment made.
- Processing sales invoices, loading onto Sage
- Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering supplier queries
- Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports.
- Print end of month report and distribute to board.
- Assist Contract Managers in updating forms for client projects
- Invoices and statements hard copy filing
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Daily bank reconciliation with Sage
- Supporting the weekly payment run process
- Expenses: check receipts and calculate VAT and totals
- Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department
- Point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during annual audit
The Accounts Assistant required skills and experience:
- Experience in an accounts/finance support role
- Competence/experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks essential
- Qualified or looking to study towards an AAT qualification or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
