A leading provider of independent healthcare is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team in the Outpatients Department on a part-time, permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapy department.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide surgical pre-operative assessment for all patients, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Deliver outpatient physiotherapy and manual handling training for hospital staff, with hours spread over 3-4 days, including at least one evening until 8 pm.
- Offer clinical direction and mentorship to other physiotherapy staff within the team.
- Promote a professional and caring environment, ensuring excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive postgraduate general physiotherapy experience, including experience in a specialist area.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines, as well as Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance tools.
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C, or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Acupuncture or dry needling competence is advantageous but not essential.
About the Department:
The Physiotherapy Department offers a range of services including inpatient care for orthopaedic, general surgical, medical, and oncology patients. The Outpatient Department sees a variety of musculoskeletal patients, including those pre and post-operatively, as well as self-pay patients, Consultant, and GP referrals. The department also offers specialist services in hand therapy, paediatrics, pelvic health, gait analysis, neurology, and vestibular therapy, with plans to introduce a shockwave service.
You will receive a full induction and benefit from access to a comprehensive in-service training program, as well as a national physiotherapy training plan offering a variety of courses. A more experienced Physiotherapist will mentor you, supporting you in completing any necessary competencies and mandatory training.
