Technical Architect

Our client is looking for a Technical Architect on a 3 month contract basis with a view to extend long term thereafter. You must be prepared to come into the office 3 days per week - This is not negotiable. You will be able to hit the ground running and Produce high-level system designs for Enterprise solutions coupled with providing  sound technical guidance to the existing team.

You will have an Azure Cloud base tech stack with a background in .NET Development (Full stack).

Hybrid working - strictly 3 days per week on site 

To be considered for the role you must have the following essential skills:

Key skills & experience

• 5+ years as a Technical Architect
• Managing your JIRA queue of bugs + tasks
• Build & deploy applications to system test environment with: MSBuild, Octopus, Azure DevOps
• Both high-level and low-level technical designs
• Solution implementation, ensure alignment of technical solution with project requirements
• Code reviews, policing best practices; code quality, testing, and documentation
• Development experience with ASP.NET C# using Visual Studio, .Net CORE
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Bootstrap
• SQL databases - writing stored procedures and backup/restore
• MVC, Web APIs, REST and XML/JSON services
• Source control and branching using TFS, Git, Azure
• Cloud & Microservices solutions
• Event driven architecture
• Azure Service Bus / Azure DevOps / Cosmos DB
