Role: IFS Architect/Consultant
Location: Windsor,Once a week
Duration: 6 Months
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for leading workshop and discovery engagements with clients, understanding the business process and value drivers and translating this into customer facing presentations and solutions to support the Sales / presales cycle.
- Standout stakeholder management experience and a relationship builder by nature to ensure real collaboration with clients.
- Relevant certifications in IFS Applications and cloud platforms are highly desirable. Experience deploying IFS Cloud and/or earlier IFS ERP applications across multiple countries
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using IFS Applications.
- Design and develop an end-to-end cloud migration strategy, including infrastructure requirements, data migration plans, and integration strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to leverage their expertise in cloud migration and IFS Applications.
- Conduct system assessments and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Solves complex problems in an organization by designing or modifying technology architecture and testing the integration of software in these designs for correct functionality.
- Responsible for designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to define requirements, develop architectural designs, and oversee the successful implementation of the solution.
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies, APIs, and data migration strategies.
- Excellent requirement gathering and documentation skills.
Key Skills
- Strong IFS ERP implementation project experience in a Senior Functional role
- Strong familiarity and experience with IFS implementation methodology
- Proficient in IFS Applications modules, including finance, supply chain management, manufacturing, and human resources.
- Strong configuration experience of IFS Cloud or one / many older versions support business requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal & presentation
- Mentoring other consultants where required
- Knowledge in overall IFS Cloud application architecture and previous implementation experiences to advise on best way forward for the requirements at hand. Ensuring right-fit selection of IFS module licenses, though the assumption is IFS is offering its full IFS Cloud for Energy Bill of Material.
- Played Architect role in E2E IFS Implementation experience.
