Description
* Printing out incoming invoices, logging on Sage and issuing for sign off, updating once payments are made.
* Processing sales invoices, loading onto Sage
* Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering supplier queries
* Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports. Print month end report and distribute to board
* Invoices and statements hard copy filing
* Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Daily bank reconciliation with Sage
* Supporting the weekly payment run process
* Expenses, check receipts and calculate VAT and totals
* Cover for Accounts Assistant
* Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department
* Point of contact to answer queries from external auditors during annual audit
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
- Experience in financial reporting and general ledger structuring.
- Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyse financial reports and forecasts.
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
