We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your expertise in food preparation and culinary techniques will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

45hrs working week on a rota basis - taking turns to work weekends and busy periods

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety standards

- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

- Clean up station and take care of leftover food

- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary environment

- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods

- Understanding of food safety regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
