We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for cooking and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen. The position is based in the scenic area of Windsor Great Park, and candidates will need their own vehicle to commute to work.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts.
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Manage and train any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques.
- Oversee and organise kitchen stock and ingredients.
- Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verify all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance.
- Keep cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools and processes.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of best cooking practices.
- Culinary school diploma preferred.
- Must have own vehicle for commuting to the workplace.
