James Lewis is currently assisting a key client in their search for an Electrical Supervisor for circa 8 weeks to join an M&E Contractor who have been well established for over 23 years.
As a privately owned Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor they provide services across Design & Build, full M&E services, HVAC, IT infrastructures, CCTV, security, access control and fire alarms. The company has been founded upon sound practises, quality installations and working closely with their clients on a range of projects which include, commercial, education, residential, healthcare, government, data centres and healthcare ranging in value up to 20m.
The project is the refurbishment of a large country mansion near Windsor for a wealthy London family, with a total refurb value of 25m of which M&E is 4m, a substantial amount for one property. The scheme is live with a predicted end date in April/May 2025, but they require 8 weeks of holiday cover from the 6th of Jan, 2025. Due to the nature of this project our client will ideally need to see a previous track record of experience on residential projects preferably with high-end finishes.
Electrical Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and supervising work force & site personnel
- Planning workload accordingly
- Daily progress reports with the Contracts, Project, and Site Managers
- Carrying out toolbox talks and relevant safety training.
- Inspection checks
- Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
- Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents - acting where appropriate.
- Risk assessments and H&S
Requirements & experience:
- Valid Electrical Qualification
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- First Aid
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
