?? Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or group support to students with SEN/SEMH needs, adapting to their individual learning styles
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Support students' emotional and social development, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to meet the needs of students
  • Manage challenging behaviors in a calm and constructive manner, using appropriate strategies
  • Prepare learning materials and help set up engaging classroom activities
  • Foster a safe and nurturing space where all students can thrive

  • Experience in education or working with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to purchase a new one)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
