Our client is a privately owned Homecare Provider based in Windsor, specialising in delivering exceptional quality care and support to private clients in their own homes.They are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) with a current rating of "Good."
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will build strong relationships with staff, clients, and their families. By understanding their needs, you’ll strive to help our clients live as independently as possible.
You will take pride in developing those around you and will be confident in seeking guidance when needed. You will aim to be a role model to your colleagues and a dependable source of support for the Registered Care Manager and Care Coordinator.
This is a full-time role, with time split between the field and the office.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide cover for uncovered visits/emergencies on the rota.• Manage client field compliance, including (but not limited to) risk assessments, equipment checks, client information, and medication.• Lead and support the staff team:o Act as the first point of contact for the team, offering support and advice, and raising any issues with the management team.o Assist the management team in leading, managing, and supporting the care team to ensure high-quality care is provided.o Manage staff compliance, including risk assessments, inductions, competency checks, spot checks, supervisions, and training.o Serve as the key link between field operations and office administration.o Identify training needs, gaps in team knowledge, and implement appropriate solutions.• Assist the management team with operations and quality control processes.• Respond to onsite emergencies.• Participate in out-of-hours/on-call duties.• Perform other day-to-day tasks as required.
Key Qualities: • 2+ years of experience in a caring environment.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• Compassion and empathy for clients and staff.• Ability to maintain client and colleague confidentiality.• Full UK driving license, access to a car, and business insurance.• Flexibility with working hours and ability to adapt to last-minute changes.• QCF Qualification Level 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).• Proficient IT skills - OneTouch Care System, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Salary and Benefits::• Salary up to £24,000• Mileage allowance (40p per mile)• Pension• Minimum care call is one hour• Free DBS & Uniform• Refer-a-friend bonus• 35 hours per week (09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, plus on-call hours)
