The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Senior CFD Engineer to join a Global Offshore Energy EPC Contractor based at their UK office in South West London.

Job Overview:

As a Senior CFD Engineer, you will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry. With a strong track record of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, we strive to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Soil particle transportation and sand wave migration analysis.
  • Performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis using commercial software packages.
  • Demonstrable experience in the application of single/multiphase flows, compressible flows, conjugate heat transfer, discrete phase modelling

What do you need to succeed?

  • Extensive knowledge in ANSYS FLUENT and meshing packages such as, ICEM, Gambit and SpaceClaim.
  • Experience with OLGA, PIPESIM, specialised modules such as FEMTherm, slug tracking, compositional tracking
  • Knowledge of programming in Python / FORTRAN /MATLAB will be an advantage
  • Masters degree/PhD qualified professional with min.
  • Design experience working in the Oil and Gas industry with a demonstrated record of technical achievement in relevant project role
  • Experience in flow assurance steady state/transient thermal and hydraulic analysis will be a plus.
