Health and Safety Manager

Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across a 7-day rota (any 5 days out of 7)

Contract Type: Permanent, salaried

At LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort the safety of our staff and guests is our highest priority, and we are recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to drive and maintain compliance and quality within all aspects of Health and Safety across the resort.

The Health and Safety Manager will support the Health and Safety Director in formulating, developing, monitoring and implementing Health and Safety policies, systems, procedures and standards.

You’ll be an experienced Health and Safety Manager so naturally you will be data driven, and this will serve you well when it comes to the reporting, auditing and analysing of Health and Safety incidents and near misses. As a passionate advocate for Health and Safety best practice our wider management team will look to you for guidance and training, and as a confident, approachable colleague you will lead by example on adherence to H&S policies and procedures, both internally and externally with contractors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have experience in hazard analysis and have previously worked in a high-risk work environment, ideally a theme park setting
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Health and Safety Management function
  • You will be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal communication, with an approachable personality and a solutions-based mindset
  • As a Health and Safety professional you will be well versed in the training and reviewing of Risk Assessments, with a keen eye for risk management and mitigation

We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to two awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO® brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
