About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturer in Slough, is looking for an Engineering Manager to oversee their Production Engineering and Facilities team. In this critical role, you will ensure the smooth running of manufacturing operations, focusing on electronic assemblies and production engineering. Key Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager:

• Lead and manage the Production Engineering and Facilities teams to ensure efficient production operations.
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain) to align production needs and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to staff.
• Drive innovation and improvements in production techniques, focusing on cost reduction, product quality, and throughput.

Key Requirements for the Engineering Manager:

• Proven experience in Production Engineering within a manufacturing environment, particularly with electronic assemblies.
• Strong technical understanding of production engineering processes and equipment.
• Experience managing or leading teams within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational improvement.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior leadership and other departments.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.
