Job Title: Senior Project / Programme Manager

Location: Windsor, Hybrid, once per week onsite

Remuneration: 650pwd, paid via Umbrella Company

Contract Details: Contract - 6 months, scope to extend

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall ownership of the project plan, budget, and scope, ensuring accountability for delivering the required business outcomes and benefits to time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with various business areas, including supporting functions, to develop a project vision, business case, scope, impact, budget, plan, and organisation, aligned with the project vision and business outcomes.
  • Ensure the project aligns with key business objectives and the organisation's strategy.
  • Establish and lead effective project governance, facilitating decision making and tackling obstacles, while resolving conflicting stakeholder issues with comprehensive reporting.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams within the project and wider change agenda, implementing mitigating actions.
  • Optimise return on investment and consider all available options and alternatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive senior stakeholder communications and change management activities, embedding changes within the organisation to achieve benefit realisation according to the business case.
  • Manage the inter-relationship of the project with the wider business and portfolio, as well as with business as usual operations.
  • Oversee the delivery and maintain relationships with internal functions and third-party suppliers.
  • Deliver the project in accordance with quality standards, change methodology, and project governance standards as defined by the Planning & Performance team.
  • Plan project resourcing, ensuring adequate resources and contingency arrangements to meet commitments.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse project team, fostering collaboration across business functions and the organisation to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Perform structured quality assurance and health check reviews as required.
