Finance Assistant | Fast Growth Creative Design Agency Scale Up | WindsorHarmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK's most exciting and fast growth UK architecture design agencies in the search for their next Finance Assistant to join their increasingly scaling team.

The Business:

Our client is one of the most respected and industry known scale ups within their space, having a built a strong reputation over the last 20 years. Having designed some of the most exciting work spaces across the UK for leading businesses within their respective industries, there is a real source of pride throughout the organisation and a common goal mentality of providing the best level of quality for their clients.

There is also a huge emphasis placed on their values, with a dedicated commitment to ESG and their external environment. With headcount at 30 and turnover expected to grow from £15 million to circa £20 million this year, this is a truly exciting time to join a scaling business with big plans over the next 3-5 years.

The Role:

This role will work closely with a senior bookkeeper, keen to offer great training and exposure to a wide range of senior duties once established in the role. This will include working across month end and management accountant duties, along with other ad hoc responsibilities to support the wider finance and business function.

Providing a comprehensive study support package, this will be the ideal opportunity for junior finance professionals keen to progress their careers within a sociable, values first, people driven environment.

Duties:

  • Process sales invoices and upload them onto Xero.
  • Manage credit control, handling the accounts receivable ledger and chasing outstanding debtors.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports
  • Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations with Xero.
  • Assist with the weekly payment run process.
  • Process expense claims, checking receipts, calculating VAT, and totalling expenses.
  • Support with month end duties
  • Ad hoc finance support

What we need to see (essential):

  • 6 - 12 months finance experience
  • Ambitious, growth mindset

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Sage or Xero experience

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + study support
