Quantum Scholars is working with a well-established Middle School in Windsor, which is seeking a talented and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their school ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment. The role is initially on a long-term supply contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position depending on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons for students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in line with the national curriculum.
  • Student Engagement: Develop engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities, ensuring all students can make progress and achieve their potential.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess students' work regularly, provide constructive feedback, and set targets to drive improvement. Monitor progress and address any learning gaps.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment, using effective strategies to encourage student participation and manage behavior.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Maths department and other staff to share best practices, attend department meetings, and contribute to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Parental Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and discussing any concerns as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, SCITT, etc.).
  • Strong Knowledge of Maths at GCSE level (experience teaching A-Level is a bonus but not essential).
  • Experience in a Secondary School Setting is preferred, though newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent Classroom Management Skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Passion for Teaching: A commitment to inspiring students and fostering a love for learning.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents.
  • DBS Clearance: A current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK!
  • Must be available to start immediatley.
