About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Music & Drama Teacher to join a vibrant middle school in Windsor for a cover position starting on 22nd April and continuing until the end of the term. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 2 and 3, fostering a love for the performing arts.

As a Music & Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop students' musical and theatrical skills, encouraging creativity and confidence. The school is committed to providing a rich and diverse curriculum, and the performing arts play a vital role in their educational offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Music and Drama lessons to students in Key Stages 2 and 3.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's vibrant performing arts program.
  • Participate in school events and performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements.

Candidate Profile:We are looking for a Music & Drama Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Has strong experience teaching or leading Music and Drama, even without formal teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrates a passion for the performing arts and the ability to inspire students.
  • Possesses strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Is adaptable and able to deliver engaging lessons in both subjects.
