Key Responsibilities- Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide targeted assistance to students with diverse needs, ensuring every learner feels included.
- Help create a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Support students with additional educational needs (SEN/EAL) in achieving their learning goals.
- Assist with the preparation of resources and activities to enhance learning.
- Monitor and report student progress to teachers and parents.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies to ensure the welfare of all students.
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and adaptability.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student support.
- Familiarity with SEN and inclusive teaching practices (an advantage).
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Any relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or youth work are a bonus.
