A wonderful Primary Special School in Windsor is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This role offers an incredible opportunity for graduates or experienced teaching assistants to gain hands-on experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Global Developmental Delay, and other cognitive or learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external professionals, including psychologists, to provide personalised support for students.
  • Help students develop emotional regulation and social skills.
  • Work closely with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Previous relevant experience could include youth work, mental health support, sports coaching, or experience in SEN settings.
  • Bring a proactive, calm, and enthusiastic approach, with a keen interest in Psychology or Education.

This school is seeking confident and committed SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about positively impacting a child's education. Strong behaviour management skills are highly valued, and any training in de-escalation or restraint is advantageous.
