Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons to students with a range of special educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably within an SEN setting.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
